28Volts direct current (VDC) distribution

Supplied by AC electrical network, the TRU provides emergency 28 VDC voltage through a TRU box for protection, logic controls, monitoring.

This TRU box shall perform the following functions:

  • Connection of the various power sources to the network
  • Electrical power distribution networks’ protection
  • Protection against over current, over voltage, under voltage
  • Diode failure detection
  • Built-in tests
  • CAN and ARINC status communication
