Bidirectional DC-DC converter allowing 2 modes :
- buck mode (SCAP charging)
- boost mode (energy delivery)
PCM Power Current Crontroler
Goal :

To control the transient starting torque (provided by the DC machine to the engine)
Benefits :

Provides and attenuate softer starting torque

Accurate control of the peak torque provided by the starter

Limits transient under-voltage on H/C dc bus

The PCC is energized at power-on, at DCEMB contactor closure:
- buck mode (SCAP charging)
